Request.Finance: the All-in-One Platform for Businesses to Manage Their Crypto Transactions

Like you, we believe that cryptocurrencies and digital assets will continue to be an integral part of the way we live, work, and play.

Our mission is to enable companies using crypto to easily manage finance processes like accounting, invoicing, payment processing, and treasury management - all using a single source of truth. 

In 2017, we started the Request Foundation to work on developing the Request Network protocol to allow anyone to create, store, and access invoices and receipts on a universal, decentralized ledger. To further bring that vision to life, we also formeRequest Labs to build the first apps on top of our own protocol.

Since we launched our Request Invoicing app in the summer of 2020, it rapidly gained traction among the industry’s most notable names including AAVE, MakerDAO, Gnosis, and The Graph. 

Today, more than 600 businesses use Request Invoicing to manage and pay their invoices, with the total volume of invoices paid in cryptocurrency recently crossing US$100 million. The Request Invoicing app allows users to easily generate or pay an invoice in over 30 different cryptocurrencies including stablecoins, and nine different fiat currencies. 

As a growing number of companies adopt cryptocurrencies and digital assets, we saw the need for businesses to have a dedicated website with resources to help them manage their finance operations in crypto.

We’ve developed what is perhaps the most elegant way to issue, manage, and pay invoices in crypto. But we’re just getting started.

In keeping with our vision, Request Labs will continue to develop new apps with functionalities beyond invoicing. Our product pipeline includes features like payroll management, invoice financing, credit scoring, escrow, and more. 

As we introduce these new apps, the Request.Finance website will be the platform where we announce new product updates, host tutorials, and summarize relevant industry trends for finance professionals at companies doing business in cryptocurrency.

The Request Foundation team will continue its own independent research and development work focusing on the Request Network protocol, and the economics of its native token, REQ. Going forward, our current website, Request.Network, will be revamped to host only content that’s relevant to the Foundation’s work. 

As we continue to improve the protocol, the Foundation will offer grants to other developers to grow the ecosystem of dApps using the Request Network protocol.
