BNB Chain Payments Now Supported in Request Finance
Enabling BNB Chain Tokens For Payments, Invoices, and More in Request Finance
Amidst the excitement of being at the Binance Blockchain Week, we are delighted to announce that Request Finance now supports BNB Chain. BNB, which stands for “Build and Build”, is the blockchain gas token that “fuels” transactions on BNB Chain.
Payments in the BNB native token, as well as tokens like BUSD which operate on the BNB Network can now be used in the Request Finance app to issue and pay invoices, salaries, and more.
The addition of BNB Chain gives crypto-native companies, DAOs, and web3 project teams in the BNB Chain ecosystem the flexibility to choose from a growing list of over 70+ different currencies, and 10+ different blockchains.
“The team at Request Finance is excited to support BNB Chain and their vibrant ecosystem of Defi, Metaverse, NFT and gaming projects. We constantly receive requests from our users to support new blockchains payment networks, and BNB Chain is a popular choice” - Ludovic Gilbert, Business Development & Marketing at Request Finance.

About BNB Chain
In February 2022, Binance announced the merger of Binance Chain and Binance Smart Chain (BSC) into BNB Chain. The transition highlights BSC’s connection with the BNB token and BNB ecosystem. With a vision for what Binance calls “MetaFi” (“Meta” for metadata, and “Fi” for DeFi), the company hopes that BNB Chain can build the infrastructure that powers the world’s parallel virtual economy. BNB Chain aims to support large-scale applications, including GameFi, SocialFi and the Metaverse.
Originally launched in September 2020, BSC served as a parallel blockchain to Binance Chain while enabling smart contract functionality and the staking mechanism of BNB. BSC offers users a cheaper, faster, blockchain network that’s compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine. Developers can worry less about transaction fees and focus more on innovating, while using all of the existing developer tooling they are familiar with in the Ethereum ecosystem.
